My name is Heather Welch and I teach at Mountain Park Elementary. I have been in education for about 17 years, first as a teacher’s aide and then as a classroom teacher. I have worked with and taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th grades and even helped in P.E.! I love children and have always wanted to teach. 
I have a son named Nick. He is 12 years old. 
My mom is an Elementary School Principal. My dad is a Chaplain at a hospital. My younger brother works with computers. 
I have 2 female Chihuahuas. One is a tricolor (black, white, and tan) named Muffin Chi Chi Dolores. The other is a white and brown named Pixie Bella Rosa. 
One is black and white, named Oreo. 
The other is brown with a white crest named Brownie.
