Our class pet is a gerbil named Sugar.
We adopted him from Ms. O'Sullivan's Kindergarten Class. He is the "son" of our previous gerbil named Shadow that died. We like when he runs around our class in his green ball. He loves to chew on paper towel rolls! Many students have taken him home during the year to care for him during the weekends.
